Mr. Christman, born and raised in Wisconsin, came to Hawaii in 1979 to attend the University of Hawaii and has been here ever since.  After graduating in 1983 he started his own building maintenance company, which he successfully ran for 14 years.  At its peak, his company employed over 60 people.

As a former business owner who paid for many insurance policies along the way, Mr. Christman’s career change to the insurance industry was a cognizant, premeditated decision.  He joined Cavanaugh & Associates as a sales agent in1997.

After getting his start, and grateful for the opportunity, Mr. Christman soon decided it was time to move on to a larger marketing organization. 

In 1998 he became an independent agent with the John H. Connors Insurance Agency.  During that time he has garnered several large accounts and developed numerous niche markets such as roofers, security, condos, fleet taxis and limousines, as well as an individual owner taxi program.  Mr. Christman also writes large group medical plans and facilitates placements with professional employer organizations.

His experience as a business owner, as well as his prowess and expertise in the sales process is noteworthy.  It is evident in his achievement of becoming a high revenue producing agent in a relatively short timeframe.

Mr. Christman and his partners started ACW Group, LLC on April 1, 2009.
